Keanu Reeves is all set to join Fast & Furious 9 Franchise

Keanu Reeves is all set to join Fast & Furious 9. This news has been confirmed after his recent conversation with Hobbs and Shaw director Chris Morgan. Along with Fast and Furious franchise, he is also returning to the Matrix 4.

The movie will become more exciting with the inclusion of Keanu Reeves in the Fast & Furious franchise. Before that, he has was supposed to join the film as the leader of the terrorist organization Eteon. Although, he can’t do the film now.

Fast & Furious is already a big movie franchise in the world with $5.8 billion. With Keanu Reeves’ joining, it will be huge. Long-time writer Chris Morgan said he wanted Keanu to be part of the franchise for a very long time.

He said, “We’re just trying to find, the hardest thing is always time and competing schedules and then designing the right thing together. My fervent desire is to bring him into this franchise for sure.”
Before the release of Hobbs and Shaw, there were rumours that the actor will do a cameo in that film. After the release of the movie, Keanu wasn’t there and the director David Leitch of Hobbs and Shaw confirmed that he spoke to Reeves about a spin-off.

He said, “It all stemmed from the fact that we had talked to Keanu early on. It was even before where we ended up with this draft. I had been talking to Keanu periodically through the shooting of it all and looking for opportunities for where it could be. I also wanted to make sure that it was enough a real promise for something legitimate in the future and wasn’t just a stunt casting the role.”

“We started to populate the movie with all these other personalities, and I just didn’t really think that we needed it, although I would’ve loved it. We even talked in the post, and I showed him a rough cut of the movie. Then, we had conversations about ‘is there something here?’ We came to the conclusion of ‘let’s put a pin in it.’ I’m all for finding opportunities, but I also didn’t want to force anything,” he further added.

Along with Keanu Reeves, Cardi B is also there in Fast and Furious 9. Keanu Reeves’ recent success is something to talk about. From John Wick to Matrix 4, he is everywhere. So getting him into Fast & Furious movie wasn’t easy at all.

To make it big, they have planned to do something good, something that excites everyone. Chris Morgan also wanted it to be a role that would be remembered by all. Fast & Furious 9 will release on May 22, 2020.
