Jillian Michaels Shares Her Go-To Moves

Jillian Michaels knows the importance of a strong, toned body, and certainly an expert on tough workouts that get the job done quickly. However, she took to Instagram and post a video highlighting three exercises of butt, legs, and shoulders details.

In the video, she suggests performing each move for 30 seconds one by one and that too on a repeat mode of three rounds. This quick workout is ideal when you have not much time for a full-on exercise.

Michaels uses a kettlebell for the third exercise. But there is a precaution, if you’re new to kettlebells, make sure you keep it light otherwise you might get injured. Eight to 10 pounds, or 4 to 6 kg, is ideal in the beginning and it’s always a good idea to keep a trainer who can show you how to use them and that will help to do better.

For the first one, Michaels moves show a variation of the bridge pose which is coming up to the full wheel. It takes place before lowering the body to perform the single-leg glute bridges. The intensity will increase by doing the exercise on the tips of the toes. These forces help to work harder to remain stable there. Even full wheel also works on shoulders and arms.

In the next one, her feet are flat on the ground and she is holding a kettlebell by her pelvis. There she opens and closes her legs in a clamshell-style as she lowers and lifts her glutes. This variation will strengthen the inner thighs.

On the top of the circuit is the ultimate total-body exercise, Burpees with plank jacks and rotational twists which will get some ab action into the workout session. As she is making her career out of it, this certainly helps people to get into shape.
