Hailey Bieber Talks About Mental Health: ‘It Can Be Easy to Let People Convince You of Something That’s Not Real’

Hailey Bieber who is a fresh face on the cover of Vogue Australia‘s October 2019 issue, on sale September 23rd, recently talked about the mental illness.

The Mental Illness

She said that she blocked the haters on social media. She even disabled the comments section to avoid the negative things in life.

“Honestly, for a time I disabled comments except for people I follow. When the comments are there it’s tempting to want to read them, and I definitely found myself dipping into what people had to say, which was a bad habit. Unless I come across an article, I don’t look anything up anymore. I also try to care less about what strangers say about me, which has gotten easier,” Bieber said.

Apart from this, she talked about the beauty brand as well. Her husband encouraged her to explore that area as well. She further added that she has done some research on that but didn’t share with anyone yet. She again said she would love to take time for those things which come organically. For this, she wants to take time as well.

Hailey Bieber further talked about her marriage as well. She said no one from the outside would understand what was going through as she woke up every morning with this person with whom she has direct dialogue. She even felt it’s easy to convince people of something that are not real. She has to face a lot of questions also.

“When I had hundreds of thousands of comments bombarding me with: ‘He’s never going to this’, ‘You’re never going to that’, ‘You’ll be divorced by then’, you can’t help but wonder: ‘Does someone see something that I don’t see?’,” she questioned.

She further added that the situation started to mess with her mind. Although she has been working on retraining her thought process to understand the situation, it is expected that she will soon able to handle all gracefully.
