Philadelphia 76ers rookie Jared McCain discussed his viral TikTok with Bronny James on Paul that made him famous on social media. The 16th overall pick in the 2024 NBA alongside new teammate Paul George talks about the viral video on his ‘Podcast P with Paul George.’
“I Felt Like I Looked Better Than Them”
“I saw people who I could dance better. I felt like I looked better than them. And I feel like I dance better than them. So I was like I am already confident in this and I’mma just doing it. Luckily I did it during COVID, so it was like home school,” said McCain while explaining that he started making videos during COVID with roughly 250,000 followers.
“The McDonald’s All-American game. I had already set it up. He knew the dance. It was just simple,” added McCain as he says one of its biggest was collaboration with Bronny James.
According to Sixers Wire, McCain was named ACC All-Freshman and NCAA All-Region after helping lead the team to the Elite Eight. Jared McCain had a satisfactory Summer League with 14.3 points per game on 26.1 percent shooting, same as Duke who had 14.3 points, five rebounds and 1.9 assists in 36 contests.

Jared McCain off the court has gained over 3.7 million followers on TikTok. While on the court, he showcased his skills with the Duke Blue Devils. For the upcoming 2024-25 NBA season, he will join with Paul Geoge for winning a season title.
