The first glimpse of Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black has been revealed. On Tuesday, September 24, Netflix released the trailer for the renowned director’s newest series.
Mallory and Kimmie’s Worlds Collide In An Explosive Teaser
The action-packed teaser begins with Mallory (Crystle Stewart) emerging from a lavish mansion. Throughout the video, she showcases impressive moves, including addressing an audience of women. Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams) is intrigued as she navigates through a large venue, pointing out, “Her family owns all of this. Wonder what her life is like.”
“I bet she ain’t stayin’ in no pay-by-the-week hotel,” one of Kimmie’s friends quips.
Despite Kimmie and Mallory coming from vastly different worlds, their paths are set to intersect in the thrilling trailer, which features intense moments, including one character getting slapped and another seemingly hit by a truck.
One character encapsulates the tension by stating, “Beautiful and deadly,” to which Mallory replies, “Beauty in black, baby.”
The series as per official synopsis, “follows two women leading very different lives. While Kimmie is struggling to make a living after her mother kicked her out, and Mallory is running a successful business, they find themselves entangled in each other’s lives.”
