Next month, a sale of movie and television memorabilia will feature hundreds of items, including Yoda’s cane and Clint Eastwood’s duster coat from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
Propstore Auction: 1,800+ Iconic Items from Hollywood
Propstore is auctioning over 1,800 items at its annual live event, scheduled from November 14 to 17, with an estimated value exceeding 10 million pounds.
Items used or worn by Hollywood’s biggest stars are up for grabs, featuring products from major franchises like James Bond and Harry Potter.
A Sandtrooper helmet from the iconic “Move Along” scene in Star Wars: A New Hope is leading the sale, priced between £250,000 and £500,000.
Speaking to Reuters, Propstore founder, and CEO Stephen Lane stated, “It’s an incredibly rare artefact.”
Propstore confirmed that the Yoda cane being sold was used in both The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
Iconic Costumes from Batman, Bond, and Western Classics Highlight Propstore Auction
An array of iconic costumes is up for sale, including Michael Keaton’s Batsuit from Batman Returns, Daniel Craig’s suit from Skyfall, and the 2015 resizing jacket worn by Michael J. Fox’s Marty McFly in Back to the Future Part II.
Eastwood’s iconic duster coat from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is also part of the auction lots.
“The duster is a synonymous attire for most Western films,” Lane stated, as reported by Wionews.
“This is deemed to be one of the best Western films, perhaps of all times and Clint Eastwood costume pieces from those films virtually never, ever turn up,” Lane continued, as reported by Wionews.
Other highlights include Russell Crowe’s Maximus arena helmet and mask from Gladiator, the Ghostface mask worn by Henry Winkler as Principal Himbry in Scream, and a dress worn by Elizabeth Taylor in Cleopatra.
