Chris Morgan Meets Keanu Reeves About Possible Role

Chris Morgan, the writer of Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw has recently met with Keanu Reeves for a possible role in a future action movie. With $5.8 billion, Fast & Furious has certainly become one of the biggest movie franchises across the globe.

All the fans of the fast and furious were certainly happy with Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham’s joined hands for Hobbs & Shaw, but it could’ve been more exciting with the inclusion of Reeves, who was in talks to join the film one at a time. However, Johnson recently revealed, Reeves couldn’t do the film and he said that the door was still open for Reeves as he’s joining the Fast & Furious universe, another action-heavy franchise.

While speaking to Screen Rant before the Hobbs & Shaw release, the writer of the franchise, Morgan shared that there have been talks going on with Reeves.

“I sat down with him and we’re talking about. I wanted him to be in the Fast universe for a very long time. We’re just trying to find… the hardest thing is always time and competing schedules and then designing the right thing together. My fervent desire is to bring him into this franchise for sure,” he said.

Reeves has been going through a purple patch in these days, with the movies like John Wick: Chapter 4, as well as The Matrix 4 and Bill & Ted Face the Music. Reeves has been enjoying ever since John Wick put him back as an action star again after a long time. However, this is going to be fun to see Reeves has a special appearance to the Fast & Furious universe, and it certainly looks like both the parties wish to make such teamwork together.

Meanwhile, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw will be on Digital HD on October 15, 2019, and is all set to release on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD on November 5, 2019.
