Knight Died By Suicide
According to the Center for Disease Control “inhalation of high concentrations” of the “highly toxic, colorless gas” can cause “rapid unconsciousness and death,” as Knight died by suicide.
The Guns N’ Roses guitarist revealed On July 21, on his Instagram account that his stepdaughter Knight died “peacefully” in Los Angeles on July 19 at the age of 25 and called her an “incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer and a charming, lovable, sweet soul,” adding,”social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss.”
At the time, Slash did not reveal the exact reason for her death, however, On July 21, two days after Knight’s death, a scheduled post appeared on her Instagram page, featuring a selfie and a caption reflecting on her relationships with those in her life.
As per post Knight, born on Dec. 6, 1998, was the “beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson.”
Slash Calls Her The Brightest Light
The guitarist, before sharing the news of his stepdaughter’s death, had already canceled the four shows on his S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival 2024 tour from July 22-27 through social media.
Slash posted another picture with his late stepdaughter on Instagram and captioned it with, “My heart is permanently [sic] fractured, will never ever stop missing you & remembering what a beacon of happiness, laughter, creativity & beauty you have always been. & still are.”
Slash added as he calls her the brightest light in people’s lives, “The brightest light in the lives of so many that loved you so much. I find solace in the hope that you are at peace now. I will love you eternally,”
