On Thursday, Sept. 26, the Today co-anchor, Savannah Guthrie, 52, posted photos on Instagram of her eldest child, Vale, 10, in honor of National Daughters Day, which was celebrated the day before in the U.S.
Sharing Sweet Snapshot Of Her Daughter Vale
Guthrie, who has a daughter, Vale, and a son, Charley, 7, with her husband Michael Feldman, 55, shared a photo of herself and Vale in front of the Eiffel Tower, taken while she was covering the 2024 Paris Olympics, as part of a carousel of images.
Another photo featured the young girl sitting at a picnic table with an ice cream, while a third selfie showed the mother and daughter smiling together. The last shot captured Vale happily pointing to her pretty pink floral dress.
“Here for it, even if it is a made up instagram holiday – happy national daughters day ❤️,” Guthrie captioned the post.
Guthrie frequently shares family updates on social media. Earlier this month, she revealed the sweet text messages she received from her daughter after discovering that both she and Taylor Swift, 34, were at the U.S. Open on Sept. 9.
“It’s Vale. Did you meet her???” Guthrie wrote in the text, shared on her Instagram Stories.
“Tell her I wrote her a fan letter and that she is the best singer in the world,” the messages said, ending with a GIF captioned, “Did someone say, Taylor Swift?”
Sweet Back-To-School Moment
A few days earlier, Guthrie shared a sweet photo of her two kids preparing for their first days of school on Sept. 5.
In the photo, the siblings hugged each other while their mom took their picture before heading to class, set to Earth, Wind & Fire’s song “September.”
Guthrie added a “First Day of School” sticker and wrote, “Second grade and fifth grade loading….” across the image.
On Aug. 13, the TV personality shared a sweet post for Vale’s 10th birthday, captioning several photos with, “Ten years of this magical girl – my whole heart and soul. Happy birthday, dearest Vale!”
