On Monday, September 16, Reese Witherspoon, 48, posted some pictures on Instagram as she spent time with The Morning Show costar Jennifer Aniston, 55, and the show’s director and executive producer Mimi Leder, 72, at the event.

The initial photo displayed the trio posing at dinner, followed by Witherspoon snuggling up to her long-time friend and Big Little Lies co-star Laura Dern, 57, for a mirror selfie. Another shot captured Aniston and Dern together inside the ceremony, which took place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
Witherspoon also posted a selfie of herself and Dern in a car, along with a clip of them walking down a hallway. Additionally, she shared a full-length photo highlighting her elegant strapless black Dior dress, which had delicate floral details on the bodice and a tulle skirt.
The actress, who was nominated with Aniston for outstanding lead actress in a drama series for The Morning Show, styled her hair in a chic updo and complemented her look with smokey eye makeup and a gold clutch.
Witherspoon captioned the post that said, “Girls’ night at the Emmy’s .”
Previously, she had posted some photos of her glamorous look on Instagram, writing in the caption,”Emmys night!! So excited to celebrate @themorningshow season 3 and all of the amazing people who made it happen. ,” reported by People.
Witherspoon And Aniston Didn’t Win
Although Witherspoon and Aniston did not win their Emmys category, with Anna Sawai from Shōgun taking the award, their co-star Billy Crudup secured the outstanding supporting actor in a drama series award.
Witherspoon stars as news anchor Bradley Jackson in the show, which offers an inside look at the fictional news network UBA. Aniston plays her co-anchor Alex Levy, and Crudup portrays the network president Cory Ellison.
Crudup was nominated alongside his co-stars Jon Hamm and Mark Duplass, who play Paul Marks and Chip Black, respectively. The Apple TV+ series received a total of 16 nominations, including nods for outstanding drama series and outstanding supporting actress in a drama series for Greta Lee, Holland Taylor, Nicole Beharie, and Karen Pittman.
