Princess Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice — who was recently announced to be expecting her second child — rely on each other for parenting advice.
Princess Eugenie Shares Parenting Tips with Sister Beatrice
Princess Eugenie, 34, shared with Hello! Magazine on Tuesday, Oct. 8, that she and her sister regularly exchange parenting advice, “I ring her a lot about meltdowns and what we do and this and that.”
This included her post on October 1, where she shared Beatrice’s joyful news, and wrote, “So looking forward to more on this journey of motherhood together. And adding another little one to the gang.”
“When I was Instagramming that photo, I rang her, and I was like, ‘What do you want me to say?’ ” Eugenie mentioned to Hello! “She said, ‘Can’t wait to talk about the trials and tribulations of motherhood.’”
“I posted about our mothering journey because it really is like you become part of a club — a mothering club. And when your children are the same age and they’re going through the same things, it’s just the luckiest thing in the world … And Bea’s my big sister, I talk to her about everything,” Eugenie added.
The picture was a family photo shared by Eugenie showed herself and Beatrice, 36, on a beach with Eugenie’s husband Jack Brooksbank, and Beatrice’s husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, along with two of their children.
“I couldn’t find a single group shot of us ♀️, so this one from Christmas 2022 will have to do. Xxxx,” she wrote in the caption.
Eugenie Says Sons Are Unaware of Upcoming Cousin
The Instagram post also showed a sister picture of the duo.
While she is excited about her sister’s pregnancy, Eugenie shared that her preschool-aged sons aren’t quite aware that they’ll soon have a new cousin.
In a report by Hello! She said, “I think maybe Augie will see the tummy growing and realize but no, they don’t get it. Just yet.”
Beatrice and Eugenie’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, is also “so happy” about the news, the princess revealed to the outlet.
“Mum’s funny, because she loves her grandchildren so much but you can just see this pride for her two daughters. She’s like, ‘My babies!’ When you become a granny you have pride for the baby and your baby, you know? She’s got a double whammy there,” Eugenie told Hello!
