Michael B Jordan is ready to direct and star in a film titled The Thomas Crown Affair after directing Creed lll. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is supported by Amazon MGM Studios.

He, along with Elizabeth Raposo will also produce the film through his Outlier Society. The Outlier Society has a first-look film deal and an overall TV deal with the studio.

In 1968 The Thomas Crown Affair was first made by Norman Jewison, starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. McQueen portrayed the role of a wealthy businessman and a bank robber, and Dunaway played the role of an insurance investigator who got on his trial. The two had an affair and started planning another heist.
In 1999 the remake came with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo. This will be the third version of the film and the plot details are still unknown. The team now first wants to finalize the cast.
