The TikTok star and talented country singer Maddox Batson has had a busy summer, performing at CMA Fest, attending Windy City Smokeout, and even serving as the grand marshal at a NASCAR race. It’s the fans who are keeping him busy as they devour any content he shares.

“When I Get To Meet My Fans”

“It’s been absolutely crazy. But I couldn’t be more thankful for it,” Batson told People.

The 14-year-old Batson seems more mature with his voice despite having the vibe of vintage Justin Bieber with endless potential. He is the kind of kid who refers to his elders with ‘sir’ and ‘ma’am’, he holds the door for the one behind him and has a way of making his growing legion of fans feel like friends.

According to People, Batson who recently signed a deal with Warner Records and released his new single X’s said, “I went to go get ice cream yesterday and I think I probably took 15 pictures. A part of me was like, this is insanely cool. And the other part of me was like, this is insanely cool. I love it all the time. The coolest part of my day is when I get to meet my fans.”

Fans Admiration

Fans are shaping his busy life as they continue to show love for any content he shares from original songs to addictive covers to just plain old adventures of a teenage boy growing up in 2024.

“I’ve been raised on music. Both of my parents love music, and they’ve always raised me on it. Me and my dad would go into my little music room and start writing just silly songs and stuff like that. I guess I just got that [songwriting] gene passed down to me,” said Batson.

Diagnosed With OSD

He also had a keen interest in sports such as basketball, baseball, and football as a youngster. However, things changed two summers ago when he was diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter disease (OSD) on his right knee.

“I started playing music with my dad on TikTok Live, and we just started picking up traction over time,” said Batson as he was diagnosed with the disease, prevented from playing, and had nothing to do during the summer.

“When God closes the door, he opens another one. I just like to count my blessings.” the Tiktoker stated.

Batson’s debut single “Tears in the River” went viral last year with millions of global streams and earning him a spot in the top 15 of TikTok’s Viral Chart. He currently has over 3.5 million followers on social media.
