Armie Hammer Selling His Truck As He Cannot Afford The Gas Costs

On Aug. 27, Armie Hammer, the House of Hammer subject, 37, posted a video on his Instagram account and revealed about selling his truck as he can’t afford the gas anymore.

The Actor Recalls The Memories Of The Truck 

Hammer began the video by saying, “So, I’ve been back in L.A. for a couple of weeks now, this is my truck.”

The actor recalled some amazing memories that he spent with his 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Pickup and said, “I bought this for myself in 2017 as a Christmas gift for myself. I have loved this truck intensely and taken it camping and across the country multiple times and on long road trips, and I took it for one last road trip to CarMax.”

Hammer clarified that the video is not an ad for CarMax and said, “This is because I’m selling my truck. Since being back in L.A., I have put about 4 or 500 dollars worth of gas in it, and I can’t afford it. I can’t afford the gas anymore.”

Hammer Starting A New Life 

Hammer also said that on August 28 he will start his new life in Los Angeles with a new car and apartment.

“But you know what? That’s okay. I got a new car. It’s tiny. It’s a hybrid. I’m probably gonna put about 10 bucks of gas in it a month, and this is it. Here’s to new beginnings. It’s my birthday tomorrow,” Hammer added.

He concluded the clip and thanked the vehicle while cherishing the memories he had with the truck. He hoped the vehicle would take good care of the next person.

Denied The Allegations 

Hammer was accused of sexual and physical abuse including cannibalism, in July he talked about the allegations on Piers Morgan Uncensored and denied eating human flesh. He also confessed to having an affair that led to his divorce from Chambers 

As per People’s source, the actor is trying to get back into his normal life, “He wants to prove himself and win back credibility by clawing his way back into Hollywood and he doesn’t want to be seen as taking favors,” 

Another People’s source said, “He hasn’t been leaning on family money or what people might think because he’s a ‘Hammer.’ It seems like he’s really put in the work with treatment.”
