Brad Pitt Plays Dr. Anthony Fauci On SNL's 2nd Edition
Dr Anthony Fauci, the American immunologist and physician, saw his dream fulfilled of watching famous Hollywood actor Brad Pitt take on his role on Saturday Night Live (SNL) on Saturday.
The renowned actor left all fans surprised when he opened the show on Saturday, amid the crunch situation of global pandemic novel coronavirus outbreak across the globe. Brad Pitt spoke about the recent comments made by US President Donald Trump regarding COVID-19 while playing the role of the physician.
He claimed that the president has shared guidelines and he would like to explain what the president meant by that.
Pitt, as Fauci, also said that Trump who earlier said everyone can get a test, actually meant “no one” would get that test done. He also played a clip of Trump where he was seen saying the global pandemic will go away one day like a miracle.
To which, Brad Pitt had a fitting reply. He cited, “A miracle is great. Who doesn’t like miracles,” said Pitt, adding: “Miracles shouldn’t be Plan A.”
However, his cameo on the show came after the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases had shared his dream during a CNN interview where he said that he wants Brad Pitt to take on his role on SNL. Before ending the show, Pitt removed his wig and stepped out of the character, praising the doctor, Fauci.
“To the real Dr. Fauci, thank you for your calm and your clarity in this unnerving time,” he said before thanking all the healthcare officials who have been doing their level best to keep everyone safe amid this situation. “Thank you to the medical workers, first responders and their families for being on the front lines.”

On the other hand, Brad Pitt has been in the news as he has been spending time with his six children amid this lockdown.
