Best moments of Shah Rukh Khan’s interview with David Letterman

Over the weekend the thing which was going around the internet was none other than Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan’s interview. David Letterman invited Shah Rukh Khan on his show and they had a great conversation. The whole interview was superb but there was a couple of moment which became an instant hit.

During the interview, he said that whenever he goes to America they ask what kind of a star he is and he replies that he is tom and if they say he has a lot of fan following, he says 3.5 billion. However, he shared that at the halfway mark in his career he thought that he is not at all talented.
“Halfway through I realised that I’m not half as talented as I think I am. And if they’re loving me, let me just be nice about it,” added Shah Rukh.

He shared a deep thought about his parents as well. He lost his parents at an early age.
“I sometimes wonder, was it better to have lost them young and then get over it and lead life. Or would it be like, I am 53 now, to have been with them till now and then lose them?,” added the superstar.

However, he is as cool as his movie characters. He shared how he talks about girlfriends and boyfriends with his children. He even told how he was confused about his higher studies like us only.
“I finished in Sciences, I wanted to be an engineer, then I realised I can’t be, there’s a lot of things I realised I can’t be, so I just became an actor,” he added.

He even said he had to learn cooking for his children’s mid-night craving and the ultimate scene took place when his answer made everyone clap.

“Another 5-6 years, maybe you’ll have an Indian President of America, So that’s how we see it,” claimed the actor.

He even shared a secret what his father used to tell him, citing, “the only way you can think you’re educated is if you can read a newspaper and understand every page of it,” where he said that after 35 years he took a newspaper to read but failed to understand what was written there.
Alongside life, he has his theory on death as well where he explained beautifully what he thinks about the last chapter of our life.

“If you are satisfied with life, in that moment death comes to you, that’s when you go away. But if you’re dissatisfied, if you have some unfinished business left or you think, ‘no, no, no I still need to be here,’ because I think death is very beautiful and alluring,” Shah Rukh Khan concluded.
