Barack Obama Congratulates The 2020 Graduates In His Noble Disquisition

For every college going student, convocation happens to be a dream that the youngsters want to touch upon by course of the passing years. Indeed, the day sets for a new milestone in one’s life after which individuals make their way into bold realities by choosing the right career options. This year also, it wasn’t an exception as the budding minds had their expectations set for the staunch moment who geared up eventually to receive the honourable caps from the country’s delegates.

But alas! That hope couldn’t make its way into the reality as former US President addressed the 2020 batch of degree holders virtually during “Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020” all due to the overpowered pandemic.

After conveying his hearty wishes to the students, Barack Obama continued his speech with quick makeshifts as he encouraged the pupils to confront the outbreak led by solidarity rather than breaking apart. With due courtesy, he further called upon a change in the worldly ways as we move towards the future starting from the inception of the COVID-19 where things won’t be the way we thought before. The operating protocols would, however, turn out being difficult rather than smooth as he told, “If you were planning to work while going to school, finding that first job is going to be tougher.” And that needs fast-forwarded advancement in the next generations.

While speaking about the earthly miseries, he spoke about a range of underlying problems within the nations that loom over “massive economic inequality to ongoing racial disparities to a lack of basic health care for people who need it”. Therefore, he advised that the only way to counter such challenges would be through progressive thinking to include every section of the society in the communal functioning irrespective of their status quo.

Afterwards, he admitted a bitter fact that encompasses the whole system saying, “And all those adults that you used to think were in charge and knew what they were doing? Turns out that they don’t have all the answers.”

He explained that everything demands a new approach in the circumventing reality who discarded the traditional approach in the statement that reads, “Unfortunately, a lot of so-called grown-ups, including some with fancy titles and important jobs, still think that way — which is why things are so screwed up” and elaborated a notch higher professing, “But if you listen to the truth that’s inside yourself, even when it’s hard, even when it’s inconvenient, people will notice.”

And lastly, he imparted an earnest gesture admitting, “When you need help, Michelle and I have made it the mission of our foundation to give young people like you the skills and support to lead in your own communities and to connect you with other young leaders around the country and around the globe”, which stays true to his commitment towards the flourishing youths.
