Aloe Vera has long been used for both therapeutic and beauty purposes. Is it beneficial? How to use it correctly in home conditions?
Aloe vera homeland – South Africa. It grows in the poor soil like a small tree or shrub, rejoices with occasional rain and keeps all the essential materials for a long and happy life on its fleshy leaves.
There are many ways to use them: Aloe vera successfully heals burns, helps to heal wounds and relieves pain. Fresh aloe leaves moisturize the skin, reduce redness, inflammation, alleviate allergies, stimulate collagen production, act as an antioxidant.
Sometimes, when the aloe vera comes in hand suddenly (for example, after burning), it is enough to slit a piece of the leaf and rub it with a wound. But it’s better to prepare cosmetic products in advance. Cracked leaves should be kept for 1-2 weeks in a refrigerator, then crushed or ground. Masks, tonics and other products need to be made from that crust or pressed juice.
Aloe juice restores the balance of skin and hair, gives the hair shine, elasticity to the skin. Cosmetics with aloe vera extract stimulate the cells to regenerate, soothes and heals the skin, has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic effects, helps with acne, burns in the sun, cuts, and scratches.
