WWE fans eagerly anticipate The Rock’s entrance music every week as RAW’s Netflix debut approaches. His participation in a current storyline could lead to his return sooner than expected.
The Rock’s Anticipated Return
The Great One was last seen supporting Roman Reigns during the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match at WrestleMania XL. Although the Original Tribal Chief made his first appearance since that match at SummerSlam, The Rock is still waiting for the right moment to make his return.
During an exclusive live Q&A with Joe Lowry, WrestleVotes was asked by a fan about the possibility of The Rock returning for Survivor Series: WarGames. In response, it was noted that The Great One will “probably not” participate physically before or during Survivor Series.
However, with RAW’s Netflix debut and the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event, WrestleVotes mentioned that it would make a lot of sense for The Rock to get involved in The Bloodline’s current issues.
“That would make a lot of sense,” Joe said.
Uncertainty Surrounds The Rock’s WWE Return
However, it was soon clarified that the source didn’t have any definitive information, and the suggestion was merely based on storyline logic. There has been no confirmation or update regarding The Great One’s potential return to WWE programming.
WWE is expected to plan a match between The Great One and The Original Tribal Chief in the future, with potential storyline developments starting later this year.
The Rock might return in time for Survivor Series or shortly thereafter to support Solo Sikoa and his allies. It would be exciting to see Roman Reigns face off against the man who previously tried to help him counter Cody Rhodes’ challenge at WrestleMania XL.
The rivalry between the two could set the stage for a match at WrestleMania 41 or 42. This would provide WWE with a significant storyline to develop during the Netflix era, especially as many stars may be moved to the RAW brand.
