None have matched the entertainment and electrifying impact of the one delivered by the People’s Champion himself as having countless variations of The Rock’s WWE finisher, the People’s Elbow.
Jey Uso Paid Homage To The People’s Champion
Jey Uso, a 39-year-old Former Bloodline member paid respect to the People’s Champion by using his finisher in a recent SmackDown dark match, developed his own version rather than just copying the move.
Jey Uso also known as Joshua Samuel Fatu gained significant individual recognition in recent years through his involvement in the “Bloodline” storyline, alongside his cousin, Roman Reigns. He is a member of the renowned Anoan ‘i family of Samoan professional wrestlers
In a recent WWE Raw match Jey Uso won against Kofi Kingston and Karrion Kross in a Triple Threat. His victory advanced him in the Intercontinental Champion tournament. Moreover, he has also won the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship with Coy Rhodes, marking his fourth reign with the Raw Tag Team Championship and sixth reign with the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.
Uso Delivered Yeet Elbow On Damian Priest
During the match Jey Uso delivered the ‘Yeet’ Elbow on Damian Priest, referencing the Brahma Bull, who is said to be returning to the company.
Last year at SummerSlam Since Jey Uso’s match against Roman Reigns, the Original Tribal Chief has frequently used the spear as his new finisher. Uso appears to have added the move to his arsenal, though a former WWE personality has expressed disapproval.
In a report by Sportskeeda, Matt Camp in an edition of The Wrestling Matt said “I think his Spear sucks. He, like, and I know he’s been maybe doing it longer than Bron, or actually he’s not. If you’re gonna have Bron Breakker do that Spear—the best Spear in the game and at least up there with Goldberg’s—no one else should do a spear. No one else. And if it’s going to look that sh**ty, use another move.”
