Wendy Williams Seen Publicly For The First Time In A Year

On Aug. 19, American media personality Wendy Williams, 60, along with her son, Kevin Hunt Jr. were spotted at the holistic store Bolingo Balance in Newark, N.J., on Monday, the outing is the first time the personality has been seen in public since March 2023. 

“Sharp, Upbeat, Aware, And Very Bubbly”

In a report by Outlet, One of the employees of the store owned by Victor Bowman, the son of herbalist Alfredo, Dr. Sebi Bowman noted that Williams was “sharp, upbeat, aware and very bubbly” during the visit and also said that Williams was engaging 

but unfamiliar with our work, her son had to explain things.

“She talked about circulation improvement but didn’t want to get into too much detail on their first meeting and plans to come back in the near future,” the employee noted.

On Aug. 19, Bowman posted a picture with Williams on his Facebook page with a caption that reads, “Wendy Williams come to my store much love Queen ,” and on the store’s Instagram page, 

with a caption that says, “Much love to Wendy Williams and her son ❤️. I remember when I met Kevin in Usha village, my dad told me, I want you to meet Wendy’s son.”

William’s son whom she shares with her former husband Kevin Hunter replied on the post “.”

Williams’s Last Public Appearance 

In March 2023, Williams was seen last publicly while returning to her New York City apartment and before that, she made her last appearance in July 2021 in the show The Wendy Williams Show. The show concluded after Williams was diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia including excessive alcohol consumption.

In a report by People, Williams’s sister Wanda Finnie and niece Alex said that Wendy was not aware of the diagnosis and she hadn’t heard from her about her diagnosis since 2021 as after the court-ordered guardianship started in April 2022, communication with her and the rest of the family became limited.

As per People, a source said “Wendy Williams’s family is unable to speak on her current condition and location due to ongoing litigation and the fact that they have largely been denied contact.”
