Recently, renowned singer August Alsina has admitted about his long term romantic accord with actress Jada Pinkett Smith which he claimed was supported by the star’s husband Will Smith. Meanwhile, an insider has refuted such claims to Page Six, labelling them as ‘absolutely not true’.

August, however, revealed the matter to The Breakfast Club’s Angela Yee saying, ‘I sat down with Will [Smith] and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership… he gave me his blessing.’
Page Six’s reports further state that the source of the relationship can be traced to his introduction to August long back in 2015 by Jada’s son, Jaden. The duo eventually came close to each other, who went for a vacation along with the family in Hawaii just after a year. Besides, they also paid a visit to the BET Awards(2017) together.

Embracing eternal love
As he engaged in the chat with media, he couldn’t stop his emotions from hitting the public forefront. August’s expressions went beyond definition as poured in the conversation saying, ‘I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply love and have a ton of love for her. I devoted myself to it, I gave my full self to it, so much so to the point that I can die right now and be okay with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.’ That speaks for his commitment and dedication to Jada triumphing other rules. Then he continued, ‘I know that I am completely blessed and this conversation is difficult because it is so much, that it would be hard for people to understand but, once it starts to affect me and my livelihood, I have to speak up about my truth.’ That justifies the statement, ‘everything is fair in love and war’.
Staying true to self
Apart from that, August has alleged the affair to be lasting for years.
Although the accord cost him a lot in his career, his transparency has always urged him to go for the right thing. August detailed, ‘I have lost money, friendships, relationships behind it and I think it is because people don’t necessarily know the truth. But I have never done anything wrong.’
