Former US President Donald Trump said he plans to leave the U.S. and move to Venezuela if he doesn’t win the election. He claimed that Venezuela is reducing crime by sending dangerous criminals to the U.S.
If Not USA ,then Venezuela
Former US President Donald Trump has revealed that if he loses the upcoming election, he plans to leave the United States and move to Venezuela.
“If something happens with this election, which would be a horror show, we’ll meet the next time in Venezuela, because it’ll be a far safer place to meet than our country,” he told Musk.
“OK, so we’ll go. You and I will go, and we’ll have a meeting and dinner in Venezuela,” Trump added.
In an interview with Elon Musk, Trump suggested that Venezuela is reducing its crime rate by releasing dangerous offenders into the U.S. He claimed that this is why crime in the U.S. is rising while it is falling in Venezuela.
Trump also mentioned that Venezuela has eliminated about 70% of its worst criminals, although this claim is unverified. He added that he wants to prevent these criminals from entering the U.S. as they are unfamiliar with American law enforcement.
Previously, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has been accused by the US Department of Justice of narco-terrorism and corruption.
Trump Survives Assassination Attempt
On July 13, 2024, Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt while speaking at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
A 20-year-old man named Thomas Crooks shot Trump in the ear from a nearby building, killing one person and critically injuring two others. The attacker was killed by Secret Service agents.
A video captured former President Trump covering his ear and taking cover behind his lectern during a shooting incident at a rally.
Secret Service agents protected him until the shooter was killed. Photojournalist Evan Vucci took photos of a bloodied Trump, who was seen pumping his fist and shouting “Fight!” as he was escorted offstage. Trump was treated at a hospital and released later that day in stable condition.
Two days later, he appeared at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. The Secret Service director, Kimberly Cheatle, resigned ten days after the incident amid criticism of the security failures.
President Joe Biden called for an independent review of the security measures, condemned the violence, and urged a reduction in heated political rhetoric.
Misinformation and conspiracy theories spread rapidly online after the shooting, leading lawmakers to call for increased security for major election candidates.
