Yes, ‘The Half of It’ happens to be one of the definitive Young Adult stirring romcoms which is based on a bizarre theme as it challenges the ruling narratives from the Hollywood down the timeline. And this time, the plot chases an Asian-American female penned by the director, Alice Wu.

On one hand, the film depicts the affectionate, loving side of Eliah who secretly crushes her girl while on the other, her friendship with the jockstrap is shown to grow by leaps. However, the film doesn’t anyhow project hatred in the secret competition.

But as both Ellie and Paul’s feelings for Asteren deep, the three teenagers will be seen to contribute towards a love triangle which compels each of them to admit their perceptions about love and affairs.

Well, the morale of the movie stands at exploring someone of one’s age to seek own in the unfolding destiny. Thus, its more about a young lady who has hidden her identity in the past but gradually becomes who she is supposed to be.

The film’s duration is 104 minutes and is rated PG-13.
