Prince Harry attended an event in Amsterdam on Tuesday, where he spoke about the criticism over his use of private jets for the summer vacations with wife Meghan Markle and his baby Archie to visit Ibiza and Elton John’s villa in the south of France.

Recently Prince Harry spoke about his controversy regarding his using private jets for the summer vacation. Many eyebrows raised for this. When he was asked about this in the recent event, he gave a fitted reply of it, “We can all do better and while no one is perfect, we all have a responsibility for our own individual impact,” he told. “The question is what we do to balance it out.”
Harry, however, arrived on Monday on a scheduled flight and jokingly said at the beginning of his speech that he had a best nights’ sleep in the last 4 months.
Later, during the Q&A session, he was again asked about his use of the private jet. He then clarified that he uses commercial flights and spend most of his life by travelling the world by commercial. But sometimes they need to use a private jet to keep their family safe. Because of that, he took the private jet while travelling with his family in the summer vacation.
The Appearance
Harry’s Amsterdam appearance was a new partnership with the leading players in the travel industry, named Travalyst. However, the Prince shared this was a “first-of-its-kind” collaboration that is dedicated to making the travel an engine for sustainability. That, however, will help the travel industry for good. He is indeed inspired by his work and own travel.
The project is initially focusing on a couple of areas, including helping the local communities; educating people about what is sustainable travel, and working with various travel companies to make the thing easier for people.
