As her mother lives in Australia, due to strict lockdown restrictions for COVID-19, she missed her mother’s 80th birthday. After she shared her feeling along with a photo of her embracing her mom on Instagram, her fans flooded them with love for the sweet moment.

The 53-year-old actress went for isolation with husband Keith Urban and daughters at their residence of Nashville during the pandemic. As she could not be present physically at her mother’s 80th birthday in March, she wished her mother over video conference where apart from her mother, Janelle, her sister Antonia and Keith’s mother Marienne were also present. She even shared a photo of her mother when she worked as a nurse at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney, on social media. As soon as the unlocking procedure has started, the Bombshell-actress flew off for Australia with family.

Nicole considers her mother as a warrior
Nicole is known to be very close to her mother. The actress born and grew up in Honolulu, Australia to renowned Psychologist Antony Kidman and Janelle Ann. Antony took his last breathe in 2014 at the age of 75. Just one year after she debuted in 1983, she had to take a temporary break from her career to look after her mother as she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Whenever she gets a break from her work she spends her time in Australia, to look after her mum. Several times her mother has been seen to accompany her on red carpet events also. As Janelle is a cancer survivor and went through chemotherapy and radio, Nicole considers her mum as a warrior.
