Tundra Esports, a UK-based esports organization, has bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of Andrew Strauser as its new Chief Content Officer. Strauser, a seasoned industry veteran with over 15 years of experience in entertainment production, will be responsible for crafting original content for Tundra’s various channels.
Strauser Brings Extensive Experience to Tundra Esports
Strauser boasts a proven track record in the entertainment industry, having held positions like Creative Director for Jennifer Lopez Entertainment and Executive Producer at Twitch. This experience positions him well to create engaging content that resonates with Tundra’s esports audience.
Strauser wasted no time hitting the ground running, announcing his first projects for Tundra just a week after joining. He will be spearheading the creation of two original content series specifically focused on the ongoing Esports World Cup (EWC) in Saudi Arabia.
“We’re hitting the ground running with two original series from the Esports World Cup this month!” Strauser said in a recent announcement. “Stay tuned to Tundra’s YouTube and social channels for all the fun!”
Strauser’s Enthusiasm Ignited by Tundra’s Vision
In a post on Tundra’s LinkedIn page, Strauser shared the story behind his decision to join the organization. He revealed that after relocating to the UK, he was connected with Tundra’s ownership team.
“Their enthusiasm for content creation and its relationship to the brand’s growth was infectious; the rest is history!” Strauser stated.
A Look at Tundra Esports
Founded in 2019, Tundra Esports has established itself as a prominent esports organization headquartered in London. The organization currently fields competitive rosters in Dota 2, Rocket League, and Fortnite.
This year, Tundra has actively expanded its partnerships, signing deals with esports tournament platform Repeat and PC manufacturer Gladiator PC.
Tundra Esports in the EWC Spotlight
Tundra Esports’ Dota 2 team is currently competing in the prestigious EWC’s Riyadh Masters tournament. Additionally, the organization secured a spot in the EWC’s Club Support Program, granting them access to financial resources to support their participation in the EWC.
The EWC, an annual multi-game esports festival held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has been a focal point for Strauser’s initial projects. The inaugural edition kicked off on July 3rd and continues until August 25th. However, the event has also faced criticism from some stakeholders due to its ties to the Saudi Arabian government.
With Strauser’s leadership and the upcoming content series focused on the EWC, Tundra Esports is poised to make a significant mark on the esports landscape.
