Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the renowned actors in the industry He has started his career with a horror movie Critters 3 way back in 1991. Later he played the role of Jack in Titanic – one of the highest-grossing film of all time (until Avatar surpassed it in 2009).

Boogie Nights: The famous actor was offered the lead role of Dirk Diggler in Boogie Nights but he had to leave it for Titanic. However, he recommended Mark Wahlberg to the director. Mark was his co-star in Basketball Diaries.
The Thin Red Line: Leonardo DiCaprio was one of many actors who wanted to get a role in Terrence Malick’s 1998 war biopic The Thin Red Line. However, before the final casts decided on the actors like Josh Hartnett, Matthew McConaughey, Johnny Depp, William Baldwin, Brad Pitt, Nicolas Cage, Kevin Costner, and Ethan Hawke were all considered.
Angels & Demons: Tom Hanks personally asked the actor to play Camerlengo Patrick McKenna along with him in Angels & Demons but he turned down the movie offer and later Ewan McGregor was offered the role.
