Meghan Markle is set for a new venture, it seems. Reportedly she has made her first public investment in a vegan startup. The company sells instant lattes from oat milk.

Fortune has revealed that Meghan Markle has made a public investment in a Vegan startup. The company named Clevr Blends sells instant ‘Super Lattes’ made from oat milk. But the amount of investment has not been revealed yet. According to Fortune, Markle said: “This investment is in support of a passionate female entrepreneur who prioritizes building community alongside her business.” She further added, “I’m proud to invest in Hannah’s commitment to sourcing ethical ingredients and creating a product that I personally love and [that] has a holistic approach to wellness. I believe in her, and I believe in her company.”

Clevr Blends has multiple plant-based offerings. It has a Matcha Superlatte, Chai SuperLatte, Golden SuperLatte, Coffee SuperLatte, a travel mug and ‘home ritual kit’. The CEO and co-founder of the vegan company Hannah Mendoza mentioned that she was grateful for Markle’s investment. She explained, “Entrepreneurs need funding, but they also need advisers who care deeply about what they are building…. Her passion for what we’re creating is palpable.”

Oprah Winfrey enjoys ‘M’s gift

On the other hand, talk show host Oprah Winfrey was seen posting about the same products on her social media. She took the opportunity of introducing her 19.2 M followers to this new ‘basket of deliciousness’ and hinted them of Meghan Markle’s association with the brand. She was seen pouring her drink in a cup and she wrote, “On the first day of Christmas my neighbor ‘M’ sent to me…a basket of deliciousness!” she further added, “(Yes that M?) My new drink of choice for the morning and night. Wish I had Celvr Brands sooner cause I would’ve added it to my ‘Favorite Things’ list.”
