Iron Man might have a tragic end but there is one exciting twist which didn’t show in the big screen when it came to the storyline in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War.
Iron Man (played by Robert Downey Jr) is one of the favourite MCU superheroes, credits to his character from the Marvel movie. He has a great career from 2008 until 2019 and this included multiple storylines, from his relationship with his late father to his mentoring of young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland) along with his crucial role in the Infinity Saga. Now Kevin Smith, the filmmaker, presenter and comic book writer has shared that the there was an exciting twist.
Smith said on the latest episode of Fatman Beyond on YouTube, “There’s footage or a photo of Robert Downey Jr wearing the cape that came out long before Infinity War came out, so we know they shot it. We know personally that they shot it because when the writers came and spoke to us at the house before they left they were like ‘You wanna see something?’”
Smith said that the writers pulled out their phone and literally showed not only a drawing, but that was going around the internet and it looked great but they showed Sherlock in the Iron Man suit. It was like wearing the suit while Tony standing next to him with the cape.
However, his comments came after it was seen online that Doctor Strange wearing Iron Man’s suit. Phil Saunders, the concept designer of the feature film shared the images with his 13,000 Instagram followers and it went viral.
However, in the movie, the Iron Man had a final battle against Thanos. After the launch of first one way back in 2008, it was heartbreaking for the fans at the climax of the Infinity Saga. In the movie, it was seen that the surviving members of the Avengers joined together after wreaked havoc on the world by Thanos. Moreover, Thor killed the Mad Titan after learning he had already destroyed the Infinity Stones.
But after five years, when they came together again to collect the Stones by going on time travel, they faced a past version of Thanos there in the final battle.
However, it became a battle with Iron Man who used the power of the Stones but, eventually the power overwhelmed him and drained his strength and ultimately it was an end of Iron Man.
