It seems the next year is going to be Keanu Reeves’ only. After John Wick, he is going to feature in Cyberpunk 2077. RPG – the newest open-world of CD Projekt Red has come in the spotlight when the news was announced that one of the coolest actors in Hollywood, Reeves would be featured in the game’s story.

And, no wonder, his fans have already started speculating what role his character, Johnny Silverhand, would portray there. While Keanu Reeves will perform cybernetic rock star Johnny Silverhand, the game will function a bunch of romance choices which Silverhand would gain to be one among them.
“Keanu plays a crucial role in the game, but as for the option to romance him, I don’t believe you can,” stage designer Max Pears informed VGC as well.

Meanwhile, CD Projekt Red hosted their second Night City Wire live stream event where fans got a closer look at the game’s various weapon options along with the cast of supporting side characters which also included a celebrity guest as well.
What is the character about?
Night City Wire: Episode 2 gave more details on Keanu Reeves’ character – Johnny Sliverhand who is the cybernetic lead singer of the fictional punk rock band Samurai. According to Refused frontman Dennis Lyxzén, who will perform Johnny’s songs, the characters of the game will meet him in Night City during the game’s main story and become inspired by his outlook.
Everyone’s favourite Keanu Reeves has already played several characters in his career that too of different shades and flavour. And, this would add another feather in his cap for sure even if he doesn’t perform the music himself.
Moreover, playing the musician’s role isn’t new for him as he has also featured as a musician in his most recent film – Bill & Ted Face The Music where he was given the task of saving the world. And, who can forget that he was the bass player for the 90s rock band Dogstar before he got the fame as an actor?

Notably, Cyberpunk 2077 will launch for PS4 and Xbox One on November 19, 2020, whereas it will be available on Google Stadia later in 2020 and on PS5 and Xbox Series X in 2021 as well.
