Famous star Keanu Reeves is one of those finest actors who have portrayed several characters that too with different shades over the years. However, he has recently revealed his favourite character and that is none other than Wolverine which he has referred to as his dream role as well.
Wolverine is one of the most popular characters of X-Men universe – played by Australian actor Hugh Jackman for 17 long years, and the role gave him to international stardom as well. Meanwhile, Reeves has also featured in some iconic franchises like The Matrix, Bill and Ted, John Wick and Toy Story.

Recently, he appeared on SiriusXM along with his Bill and Ted: Face the Music co-star Alex Winter and the host Andy Cohen asked him if he’d regret missing out on a particular movie.

“I always wanted to play Wolverine,” he revealed before Winter jokingly said: “It’s not too late. It’s not too late for Keanu to play Wolverine. I’m just going to leave that there.”
Keanu Reeves further continued that it’s too late and he is good with it now. He was told that things weren’t really working out as they hoped to be and Reeves was on the verge of getting dropped from his first Hollywood movie as well.
Jackman to not portray the role of Wolverine?
Meanwhile, Jackman too confessed that he was on the verge of getting sacked from playing the role of Wolverine during the making of 2000’s X-Men. He said that he was angry and started complaining to his wife after reaching home.
And, what his wife replied was inspiring indeed. He recalled, “She listened to me very patiently for about an hour and finally she just said, ‘Listen, I think you have just got to trust yourself. You are worrying way too much about what everything else is thinking. Just go back to the character, focus on that, trust your instinct… you’ve got this’.”
