John Wick 5 can be the top of the franchise and the famous star Keanu Reeves has already revealed what could be the best ending of this chapter. The first instalment of the John Wick movie launched in 2014 which might not become a huge success at the box office but created a lot of buzz being a low-budget motion movie and Reeves became a household name as well.
The John Wick: Chapter 2 was supported by Lionsgate which became an instant hit and people started expecting its sequel as well.
However, fans of Keanu Reeves didn’t get upset as John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum lived up to the expectations and raised the bar of the franchise as well as the actor. The movie made $325 million worldwide which left no choice for the studio but to announce the fourth instalment of the movie.
Notably, Chad Stahelski will direct the fourth instalment, which will see the finish of John Wick 3 when John survived a brutal fall and aligned himself with the Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne) and struggle with the High Table as well.
John Wick series to end soon?
Alongside the fourth one, Lionsgate has confirmed that the fifth one is also in its way. Since the global pandemic novel, COVID-19 has hit the entire world so badly, the fourth and fifth sequels in the franchise will shoot back-to-back the way Marvel did with Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame or Mission: Impossible 7 & 8 of the famous star Tom Cruise.
Although there is no official announcement of John Wick 5 is the end of the series, many thought it could be the end while seeing the urgency of their shooting. If that is the case, then John Wick 5 needs to give a satisfying conclusion, and Keanu Reeves has already revealed the best possible ending of this franchise.
Keanu Reeves’ version of the end
Reeves had revealed in a 2019 interview with Screen Rant how he visualized the story coming to an end. He doesn’t want John to “die” and wants to have survived somehow which might give John a happy ending. He wants to see a peaceful ending where he could walk into the sunset, leaving everything behind and start a new chapter of his life where he can only remember the love he had with his wife, Helen. He believes that the biggest battle John has to win is the one for his life and nothing else.
