Portuguese Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo recently scored a stunning free-kick in Al-Nassr’s 4-1 win against Al-Feiha in the Saudi Pro League, marking his 899th career goal.

Ronaldo’s 53rd Free-Kick Goal At The Club

Ronaldo being famous for his powerful free-kicks had chosen a different approach, precise placement over power. His approach paid off, bringing him closer to his 900th goal and a milestone of his ultimate target of 1,000 career goals.

Ronaldo’s free-kick was his 64th career goal from such a situation, bringing him under Lionel Messi’s one goal as he recorded 65. It also marked his 53rd free-kick goal at the club level. With this achievement, Ronaldo set a new record as the first player to score from a free-kick in 23 consecutive seasons since his 2002 debut.

It will be marked as the season’s first victory after Al-Nassr defeated Al-Feiha, boosted by Ronaldo’s goal. Ronaldo is showing his ultimate skill this season as he scored four goals in four matches, including two in the Saudi Super Cup. Moreover, he gained 44 goals in 45 games and provided 13 assists last season.

Played For Top Clubs

Moreover, Ronaldo has played for top clubs like Sporting Clube de Portugal, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, throughout his football journey

Yet To Secure A Major Title

Despite this success, he has yet to secure a major title with Al-Nassr, having finished as a runner-up in four competitions, including the Saudi Super Cup and the King’s Cup.

In an interview, Ronaldo said, “It’s going to be pretty tough, but it’s about seeing how I am mentally, my motivation. If, physically, my legs treat me as well as I treat them? We’ll see, they are small stages. Until I get to 1,000, first I have to get to 900. I think I’ll get there.”
