Fans of the Nicki Minaj bombarded Ludacris’ Instagram comments after he supported rapper Shawnna on Thursday.
Back Story
Nicki Minaj caught into some heated argument last week for supporting his “What’s Your Fantasy” co-star Shawnna and her comments about female rappers in the game during her interview with Chicago’s WGCI radio. In the video of The Shade Room’s Instagram account, Shawnna says that rappers are scared to mention her name.
Although she didn’t take Nicki’s name directly, alluded to Minaj and suggested they take their issues “to the booth.” She said that in an interview from a female artist, she didn’t say any name, so, Shawanna also isn’t going to say any name. She further added when she will be ready they will pick the beat and hit the booth.
Moreover, Shawnna then gave a cautionary warning to the rappers who wanted to test her lyrical skills.
“Rappers don’t want to give me no light,” Shawnna continued. “They don’t mention Shawnna. As soon as they mention Shawnna, spotlight on Shawnna, and you know what happens when they put the spotlight on me, I take off. Then when I take off… that’s less money in [their] pocket.”
The Support
Soon after the clip released, Shawnna’s former collaborator Ludacris jumped in the comments as Shawnna was also once signed to Luda’s Disturbing Tha Peace label. “Who want the smoke,” Luda posted along with a smoke emoji. However, this went viral in no time and riled up the Barbz who attacked Ludacris in their replies with trolling, rude comments, clown and different emojis.
However, Nicki is yet to give a reply to Shawnna’s comments.
Last week, Minaj also said that she was banned from popular US radio show ‘The Breakfast Club’, although one of the show’s hosts Charlamagne Tha God refused to believe the claim. The host shared there was never a problem with her and they didn’t even ban her from the radio station. Even they didn’t have any idea why she told like that.
