FRIENDS, the famous series of six reckless adults which became an instant hit, is all set to hit the cinemas to mark its 25th anniversary for the celebration.
Back Story
FRIENDS is an immensely popular series which id not only youngsters but also popular in adults as well. More than 1,000 theatres will screen 12 episodes across three nights in The special event in September and October which is called Friends 25th: The One With The Anniversary.
The excitement will b high for the fans as they will get to see Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc on the big screen. Not only this, but they will also get to see never-before-seen footages and exclusive interviews. However, the episodes will be screened on September 23, September 28, and October 2 respectively.
Thought Behind the Screening
Warner Bros Television Group President & Chief Marketing Officer Lisa Gregorian think its impact will be huge as Friends are popular even after 25 years. Even she further added it is great that the show brings everyone together.
‘The cultural impact that Friends continue to have, 25 years after its premiere, is astounding, a true testament to the genius of Marta Kauffman, David Crane, Kevin Bright, and the incredibly talented cast,’ said Lisa.
‘It is so amazing to know that the series is still bringing people of all ages together.’ She added: ‘We could not be more excited to deliver these digitally remastered episodes to theatres – for the first time ever! – so that together, in a shared experience, our loyal fans can enjoy some of their favourite Friends scenes in a new way,” she added.
However, the tickets will be on sale on Friday 16 August. However, they are getting a theme-based set as well from LEGO where fans can hang out or go for a coffee.
