Thunderpick WC 2024 LAN Finals: OG, Heroic, The MongolZ, 3DMAX to Compete

This journey of OG into Thunderpick WC 2024 was a fairytale one. Their path into the tournament was far from what anybody expected-it was a last-minute get-only recently granted, but they did everything to make the most of the opportunity given. To face a tough game with BIG, which they’d claim on the final map 13:1 Ancient, they are going to the LAN Finals as one of the four leaders in Final standings.

MoDo and F1KU had been carrying OG forward with key performances. MoDo showed immense strength in dominating 59:27 scores throughout the series. With the gradual improvement of F1KU, he also added to the worthiness of OG as an authentic contender. Their surprise lift up creates excitement for them when they face some of the greatest teams in the world at the Finals.

Heroic Consistency Makes Them the Favourites

Heroic enters the Thunderpick WC 2024 Finals as an intriguing story. After winning Fnatic 2: 0 without a problem, they have gained enough confidence lately to earn the status of the favorites. With the likes of TeSeS, degster, and NertZ taking their end of the bargain, there has been no room for doubt as to why Heroic has been on a roll. The team’s solid coordination and versatility will be a troublesome factor for any opponents they face out in Berlin.

Heroic’s winning rhythm of play in the recent past points to the fact that they are up for the Finals and in their current mood, they look poised to lap up the trophy. In the event that their main performers manage to keep up this pace, Heroic has every likelihood of coming back with a trophy.

The MongolZ and 3DMAX Round Out a Competitive Top Four

MongolZ had similar staying power to come back versus Imperial in the Play-In Stage, overcoming them for a spot at Finals. Senzu was in the driving seat, and it resulted in a fantastic 71:43 victory to end with AWPer 910 enjoying his own excellent face-off. Inferno is perhaps CT sided and the strategy pushed MongolZ ahead after three players went in a negative territory which showcased why they are an upcoming team CS2 side.

But in their nail-biter match vs BESTIA 3DMAX took the final win and advanced to Berlin. And while they lost control on a few occasions, the final map was an absolute lock as their third and decisive setting of Anubis. There were a few mistakes along the way, but they rallied and now they are in Berlin, with designs on nothing more complicated than staring down their competition to discover if those good vibrations of strength can last.
