Calling all aspiring CS2 champions! Famed esports organization Natus Vincere (NAVI) has teamed up with financial technology giant Visa to launch the NAVI Visa Academy, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at nurturing the next generation of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS2) stars.

Building the Future of NAVI

The NAVI Visa Academy serves as a springboard for talented young players, offering them a unique opportunity to hone their skills and potentially join the renowned NAVI Youth roster. NAVI boasts a world-class youth development system that has produced esports superstars like Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov and Valerij “b1t” Vakhovsjkyj. The NAVI Visa Academy aspires to continue this legacy by identifying and cultivating raw talent.

The selection process for the NAVI Visa Academy is a rigorous three-stage journey. Here’s what aspiring players can expect:

  • Stage 1: Application and Online Competition: NAVI coaches and seasoned players will meticulously sift through applications, searching for candidates with exceptional potential. Shortlisted players will then participate in a three-week online competition, the details of which remain undisclosed. To be eligible for this stage, players must be between 14 and 17 years old, possess a minimum ELO of 2600 on FACEIT, be free of existing esports contracts, and demonstrate a B1 level of English proficiency.
  • Stage 2: NAVI Bootcamp in Berlin: The top 10 players from the online competition will be flown to Berlin, Germany, for an immersive training experience at the NAVI Bootcamp. Here, they will train alongside experienced NAVI Youth coaches, receiving invaluable guidance and pushing their skills to the limit.
  • Stage 3: Joining NAVI Youth: The cream of the crop – the top five performers from the Bootcamp – will be offered a coveted spot on the prestigious NAVI Youth team. This is a golden opportunity to train alongside the best, compete at high-level tournaments, and potentially graduate to the main NAVI roster.

Transparency and Community Engagement

NAVI and Visa are committed to fostering a transparent and engaging experience for players and fans alike. The project’s progress will be documented on social media, providing exclusive video content showcasing the players’ journeys. This commitment to transparency fuels the excitement surrounding the academy and allows fans to witness the development of the next generation of CS2 stars.

Visa’s Continued Investment in Esports

Visa’s partnership with NAVI further underscores their dedication to supporting the esports ecosystem. This initiative follows their recent collaboration with Argentine esports organization Leviatán through their gamer-focused digital wallet, n1u. Visa’s commitment to esports development highlights the growing recognition of esports as a major global phenomenon.

The NAVI Visa Academy is a beacon of hope for aspiring CS2 players worldwide. With a proven track record of developing champions and a structured development program, this academy presents an unparalleled opportunity for talented youngsters to etch their names in esports history.
