HMBLE has made history as the new Brawl Stars World Champions, showcasing a near-flawless run at the 2024 World Finals. The event, held at Super Fest in Helsinki, was the first to feature all three major Supercell titles—Brawl Stars, Clash of Clans, and Clash Royale—together, adding to its prestige.
In the Grand Finals, HMBLE defeated Crazy Raccoon, a decorated Japanese team, with a clean 3-0 sweep, taking home $400,000 of the $1 million prize pool.
HMBLE’s championship journey began in March, with significant changes to their roster. The team brought in seasoned players Bartomeu “BosS” Vadell Planisi and Bekri “Symantec” Tahiri, joined by Luke “Lukii.”
The trio had previously struggled in 2023, making this season a chance for redemption. HMBLE quickly established themselves as strong contenders, winning the EMEA Monthly Finals in March, one of the toughest competitions in the Brawl Stars Championship series.
A Year of Challenges and Redemption
HMBLE’s breakthrough came in June when they claimed the EMEA title, defeating the reigning champions, Zeta Division, in the finals. This win cemented HMBLE’s status as a force to be reckoned with, raising expectations for their World Finals performance.
They advanced through the World Finals with an impressive 2-0 record in Group D and secured playoff victories against Pioneers and SK Gaming. Each win showcased their dominance and cohesive teamwork, setting the stage for an epic showdown in the Grand Finals.
Their final opponent, Crazy Raccoon, had a storied history. Led by two-time world champion Tensai, Crazy Raccoon also boasted stars like sitetampo, a former world champion, and Moya, a player with numerous titles.
Despite Crazy Raccoon’s experience, HMBLE’s focused and flawless play proved too strong. In the finals, they executed their strategies with precision, ultimately sweeping Crazy Raccoon 3-0.
HMBLE’s Victory and What’s Next for Brawl Stars Esports
With their victory, HMBLE has set a new standard in Brawl Stars esports. This win not only secures them as champions but also positions them as a leading force in the competitive scene. Their success highlights the impact of team synergy, resilience, and effective roster changes.
This year’s Brawl Stars World Finals saw an unprecedented gathering of Supercell fans, as SuperFest hosted the finals for Brawl Stars, Clash of Clans, and Clash Royale together.
Other champions crowned at the event include Synchronic Gaming for Clash of Clans and Mohamed Light, who claimed his second world title in Clash Royale.
As HMBLE celebrates their maiden title, they set their sights on future championships and further solidified their place in Brawl Stars’ history. Their win marks a new era for the team, and fans are eager to see how they will fare in the seasons to come.
With teams like Crazy Raccoon and Zeta Division still at the top of their game, future competitions promise even more intense battles. For now, though, HUMBLEE stands as the undisputed champion of 2024.
