Gen.G Unveils Limited Edition Uniform in Collaboration with Japanese Sports Brand Descente

Global esports organization Gen.G Esports has announced an exciting partnership with the renowned Japanese sports clothing brand Descente to launch a limited edition uniform for the upcoming League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2024). This collaboration marks Descente’s inaugural venture into the esports arena, aiming to create a uniform that embodies Gen.G’s confidence and competitive spirit.

A Unique Design for a Historic Event

The newly designed uniform, aptly named “Worlds White,” includes both a jersey and a jacket, each adorned with striking gold trims inspired by Gen.G’s iconic logo. The design also features a distinctive scratch motif from Gen.G’s mascot, a tiger, symbolizing the fierce determination required to achieve victory. This creative approach not only highlights the team’s identity but also resonates with their aspirations as they prepare for one of the most prestigious events in esports.

Arnold Hur, CEO of Gen.G Esports, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration: “We’re excited to be able to announce this new partnership with Descente at Worlds 2024. Pre-Sales and General Availability

Fans eager to get their hands on this exclusive uniform can look forward to its unveiling on September 25th through Gen.G’s social media channels. Pre-sales will begin on the same day for members of Gen.G Crew, the organization’s official membership program. 

For those who miss out on pre-sales, the uniform will be available for general purchase on Gen.G’s online store starting September 30th.

Gen.G’s Ambitious Goals at Worlds 2024

As Gen.G gears up for its run in the League of Legends World Championship starting October 10th, the team is filled with optimism following their recent victory at the Mid-Season Invitational earlier this year. The organization aims to secure its first Worlds title amidst fierce competition.
