Angelina Jolie was asked whether she cheated with Brad Pitt during an interview and her reply was shocking. She went on to reveal about her father who cheated on her mom.
Jolie about her father cheating during marriage
During her interview with Marie Claire, Angelina Jolie confessed that she never slept with a married man. She mentioned her father doing the same which is why she would never do that. “To be intimate with a married man, when my own father cheated on my mother, is not something I could forgive. I could not, could not look at myself in the mirror if I did that,” Jolie said. Her father Jon Voight cheated on her mom Marcheline Bertrand, during their marriage.
How Jolie and Pitt came together
Brad Pitt and Jolie only made things official after wrapping up work for “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” and the actress said that she is not dating anyone at that time. But her claim about cheating may not be absolutely correct as her former bodyguard, Mark Behar, told US Weekly that he saw Jolie and Pitt making out in their trailers while they were on set. So technically Jolie’s claim is wrong. At that time Pitt was still legally married to Jennifer Aniston when he started filming “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.”In 2007, Jolie revealed to The New York Times that she fell in love with Pitt while filming “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” Five months after the interview Pitt and Aniston finalized their divorce.

The actress also mentioned about her requirements and said how the man she would date next have to be the father of her adopted son, Maddox. Eventually, she and Pitt ended up together. Meanwhile, the reports about Angelina Jolie was reportedly drinking booze due to Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston was found to be untrue. They also told Vogue in 2007 that she and Pitt spent a lot of time contemplating about how they wanted to shape up their life together before getting into the relationship officially.
