Popular content creator Trainwreckstv, known for his lively gaming streams, was banned from Twitch on November 9, 2024, for the first time in over five years. Twitch suspended the 33-year-old’s channel after his Rust event began, citing “user spam” as the reason.

Following the unexpected interruption, Trainwreckstv expressed frustration on social media, saying he hadn’t received prior warnings about any guideline breaches.

Twitch’s community guidelines categorise “user spam” as actions like excessive in-stream alerts or intrusive self-promotion. Yet, neither Twitch nor Trainwreckstv provided further details on what specifically triggered this ban.

The suspension was initially set for three days but was lifted early on November 10, less than 48 hours after it began.
