A Tradition of Thanksgiving and Friendship

Even after being diagnosed, Dench is dedicated to her yearly Thanksgiving get-together with Hinton. They’ve celebrated the holiday together since their first encounter, which started with a chance text that evolved into a deep-rooted friendship. Dench is eager to keep this tradition alive, saying, “We’ll continue to meet for Thanksgiving in November, just like we always have.” Hinton, who was just 17 when Dench invited him, has become an essential member of her family.

Their connection goes beyond just the meal, as Dench and Hinton have shared intimate moments over the years. After Dench’s husband passed away, the two remained close, showing that family isn’t just about genetics. “He’s with me forever,” Dench shared, emphasizing the strength of their friendship.
