SJP Reflects on the Impact of Philanthropy

She viewed the evening much more as an appreciation of the organization’s daily efforts than as an occasion to be decorated. “It’s really about honouring somebody else… the people that make it work every day,” she noted about the necessity of recognition of the efforts of the people in the background

Kristin Davis elaborated on the satisfaction associated with helping charitable endeavours. “It feels good…we’re so fortunate… to exist, and that is participation, engaging, which feels pleasurable,” she said. Both proud women assured that generosity was, and is their way of life, and these ideals have been theree in them since they were kids.
