On his 51st birthday, Meadow Walker is honoring her father, Paul Walker. The late actor’s only child honored her father on Thursday, September 12, by sharing a childhood snapshot of the two of them in which she is seen looking up at Paul, who is smiling down at her. Meadow calls him her ‘guardian Angel’
Meadow heartfelt post for his father
The caption for Meadow’s photo said, “Happy birthday to my best friend,” 25. “I love and miss you so much every day. Thank you for everything. My guardian angel forever.” Meadow pays homage to her father on social media on a regular basis, particularly on significant occasions like November 2023, which marks the tenth anniversary of his passing. (Paul passed away on November 30, 2013, in an automobile accident.)
The model posted a cute old video of her surprising her dad on his birthday to Instagram this past November. Meadow said, “Hello!” as Paul opened a tour bus door at the start of the video. He grinned, surprised to see his daughter standing in front of him, and then collapsed onto a bed.
Meadow responded, “Happy Birthday,” to the actor, who then laughed and reached out to embrace her. “You just scared the hell out of me,” he remarked. “How on earth are you doing this? Oh, man!” Starring with Paul in the Fast & Furious films, Jordana Brewster left a remark on the picture saying, “Love you so much ❤️.”
Paul’s brother Cody is proud of her niece Meadow
Prior to Paul’s passing on October 10th, brother Cody Walker stated that the late actor would be “so proud” of Meadow’s transformation into a woman. Cody said to PEOPLE that his niece “has grabbed the torch” from her father. She founded and is the chairman of the Paul Walker Foundation, which pays tribute to the actor’s “love for the ocean.”
At the time, Cody responded, “I’d want him to know that she has just grown to be such a beautiful young lady,” when asked what he wished he could tell his brother about Meadow now. Meadow is a professional model now, having walked in fashion shows for Rokh and Vivienne Westwood among others. “She’s pursuing a career that’s extremely difficult, but she’s finding her own way and she’s landing success, and he’d be so proud of her,” Cody said.
