A risky power game between the CEO and Intern

The steamy dynamic is self-evident in the trailer released recently, where Samuel challenges Romy’s authority. “I think I have power over you,” he tells her. “I could make one call and you’d lose everything. Does that turn you on when I say that?”
The trailer teases their complex power struggle, with Romy warning Samuel, “You’re very young. I don’t wanna hurt you.” Their intense workplace romance unfolds against the backdrop of manipulation and vulnerability, creating an atmosphere of tension and intrigue.
Trust and Female Leadership Behind the Scenes
The trust between Kidman and Dickinson is what Kidman considers to be one of the secret keys to performance.
“We would look at each other and go, ‘Okay,'” she shared during a Q&A session. Dickinson echoed this saying, “If the scene wasn’t working or we weren’t comfortable, we never felt that time was more important.”
With Halina Reijn as the director, Kidman was not afraid of reaching intimate and dangerous material.
“There’s a sort of a jump-off-the-cliff thing where you go, okay, I’m just going to abandon everything and explore this. especially with the female at the helm,” she said. Reijn’s vision allowed her to approach the genre in a fresh manner while making sure that the trust and creative freedom are immense.
