During the celebration, a DJ made light of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent legal issues, referencing bottles of baby oil—a nod to allegations surrounding Diddy’s infamous parties. As servers brought out these bottles with flashing lights, the DJ proclaimed, “We’re getting really freaky tonight. We’re getting Diddy freaky tonight.” This comment and the accompanying visuals sparked outrage on social media, with many criticizing the tastelessness of the jokes considering the serious nature of Diddy’s legal battles.
In light of the backlash, sources have emphasized that Landon was unaware of the DJ’s remarks and did not endorse or participate in any of the jokes made during the event. “He did not participate,” a source stated, aiming to clarify his stance amidst growing criticism from commentators who found the humor distasteful.
“He, nor ownership, had any knowledge of the theme of the party, nor was he aware that the servers would be presenting bottles of baby oil that night for someone else,” the source adds. “He did not participate in the baby oil service and refused to engage.”

Landon’s stepmother, Kourtney Kardashian, was reportedly “mortified” by the situation and considered leaving the party due to the offensive nature of the jokes. Last month, Combs was indicted for a number of alleged sex crimes, including transportation to engage in prostitution, racketeering conspiracy, and sex trafficking. He is still being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, after entering a not guilty plea.
