The night before his 76th birthday, King Charles got emotional. At a Buckingham Palace reception, he revealed that Queen Camilla’s documentary brought him to tears. 

The documentary, Her Majesty the Queen: Behind Closed Doors, premiered on ITV1 on November 11. It highlights Camilla’s lifelong advocacy for domestic violence victims.

King Charles attended the reception to celebrate the Film and TV Charity. He shared his thoughts on the documentary, saying, “It’s very moving.” He added, “It reduced me to tears.” His words reflected the emotional impact it had on him.

The King expressed deep pride in Camilla’s work. In the film, she speaks passionately about fighting domestic abuse.
