Kelsea Ballerini’s Heartfelt Message For Her Boyfriend
As part of her celebration of Chase Stokes’ birthday, Kelsea Ballerini is displaying her affection for him. On Monday, September 16, the 31-year-old singer posted a carousel of pictures of her lover, an Outer Banks celebrity, who was 32 that day, on Instagram.
“It’s my favorite human’s birthday and there’s no one on the planet easier to celebrate. i adore you with my whole a– heart @hichasestokes ,” She added a note to the post. Ballerini posted pictures of herself jumping into Stokes’ arms, the couple cuddling, Stokes with his dog, Milo, and Ballerini’s dog, Dibs, the two kissing, and even a video showing Stokes getting what looks to be a parking ticket.
Stokes responded to the post in its comments, writing, “Bahahaha the car seat video. I love you Ballerini ️.”
The couple first alluded to their relationship in a few interviews after Stokes shared a cute picture of himself and Ballerini from the Georgia vs. TCU game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, back in January 2023. However, they finally confirmed their romance on the CMT Awards red carpet in April 2023.
Stokes Talks About His Relationship
Stokes spoke candidly about his relationship with Ballerini, whom he has been dating for a year and a half, in a recent media interview.
“We wanted to set up a sense of real life out here for a little while,” he said of the couple’s decision to establish a joint-home base in Los Angeles. “When you’re constantly bouncing around all the time, it’s hard to ground yourself. We’re just trying to find a new sense of normalcy.”
In addition, Stokes discussed how Ballerini’s upcoming album Patterns has “been something that has inspired me to get deeper into myself, into my art.” Ballerini’s record gets personal about their relationship at parts.
“I want to challenge myself in the ways that she constantly is. I don’t want to just be the guy from Outer Banks, and I won’t ever let myself be that,” Stoked said.
