The claims emerge amid Combs’ recent arrest on severe charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and violence against women, casting a shadow over his public persona as his May 2025 trial approaches.
Jamie Foxx’s Netflix Special Sparks Allegations Against Sean “Diddy” Combs
Jamie Foxx’s upcoming Netflix special, What Had Happened Was, has drawn attention due to alleged comments he made about Sean “Diddy” Combs. According to attendees at the show, Foxx hinted at a connection between Combs and his mysterious hospitalization in 2023. Choke No Joke, a videographer and comedian who attended two of the three tapings, claimed Foxx implicated Combs, stating, “Diddy was responsible for what happened to him, and [Foxx] is the one who called the FBI on [Combs].”
However, Choke noted, “Y’all can determine was he joking or not when you see the show… to me…I know when you’re serious.” Other audience members, including Dennis L.A. White, had a different recollection, recalling Foxx saying, “People keep asking me if Diddy was responsible. He was not responsible. If he was, I would’ve been dead.”
Additional allegations from celebrity security guard Big Homie .CC add fuel to the fire. In an interview with Cam Capone News, Big Homie alleged, “I know [Combs] poisoned Jamie Foxx, and Jamie Foxx reported him to the FBI because of it.”
His claim is based on stories he purportedly heard Foxx share during two show tapings. Media Take Out echoed the reports, claiming that Foxx’s special directly implies Combs’ involvement in his hospitalization, with Foxx giving a “serious stare” to an audience member after initial laughter from the crowd.
Foxx Reflects on Health Crisis Amidst Alleged Fallout with Combs
Foxx has yet to directly confirm or deny his relationship with Combs but recently shared his gratitude for his recovery journey. Following his performances, he posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, saying, “God is good. … I had an opportunity to tell my side of the story and there was no better place than Atlanta, Georgia,” referencing his Atlanta hospitalization.
He continued, “When people ask me if this is a stand up comedy show I say no, it’s an artistic explanation. Of something that went terribly wrong.”
Reflecting on his April 2023 hospitalization, Foxx previously recounted the severity of his experience, stating, “I went through something I thought I would never, ever go through,” and admitted he didn’t know if he would “make it through.” He shared a somber note on Instagram in August, writing, “They killed this dude name[d] Jesus … What do you think they’ll do to you???! #fakefriends #fakelove,” but later apologized, clarifying, “I was betrayed by a fake friend.”
